Who is Hillside Miniatures?

Hi, my name is Nick. I live in small little Luxembourg, am a father of two, working a full-time job, and like to do some miniature painting in my spare time. I love the ability to lose myself in the painting process and let time pass by. I started off painting for my Dungeons & Dragons campaign. However, as I find painting to be a very calming and relaxing experience, and the variety of models keep it fresh and interesting, I started painting for painting’s sake.

Hillside Miniatures is a way for me to share my work with the world, and have an archive of my paintings to document my progress. Also, commissions help offset the cost of the hobby and feed my addiction to buying new paints and models.

Why Hillside Miniatures though? Well, Luxembourg is a hilly country and I live on the side of one of those many hills. Also, I like the sound of it.
